The Guardian Angel Program is a sponsorship program for those individuals who want to help support The Good Shepherd Humane Society, who are unable to adopt an animal or volunteer their time. Because we are a no-kill agency, we have animals that have not been adopted, either due to behavioral problems, old age, or medical issues. These animals have become "permanent residents", thus making The Good Shepherd a sanctuary of sorts. These animals will always have a roof over their heads, good food in their tummies, and any necessary medical care. All this requires money. That's where you come in. For as little as $10.00 per month, you can help the animal of your choice get the care s/he needs. Donations can be made monthly, semi-annually, or annually. We will sent you an update of "your" animal, and list you as his/her sponsoron our website. Please consider this option if you are looking for a volunter opportunity from afar.
